Being located in downtown Houston, Urban Tails is located pretty equi-distant between our two major airports:

 

            Bush Intercontinental (IAH) on the north side of Houston

            William P. Hobby (HOU) on the south side of Houston

 

It really does not matter which airport you fly in to.

 

Houston is a sprawling city that is most easily navigated by car.  Although we do have a public transportation system consisting of metro buses and one light rail, they are not typically the best option for the occasional visitor to Houston.  We would personally recommend that you plan on renting a car to provide ease of transportation to and from the airport, Urban Tails, restaurants, shopping and sight-seeing.

 

Lodging 

Houston has many, many hotels offering great options in regard to driving proximity to Urban Tails and/or major attractions as well as a variety of price ranges to choose from.  Being located close to downtown provides many hotel options downtown as well, however none that we would consider to be within a reasonable walking distance.

 

Following are some hotels we've found that are reasonable in proximity to our facility as well as offering flexibility in pricing.  As we are so close to downtown, we would advise inquiring as to the availability of guest parking and if there is a charge for same with any hotel you consider.
