In designing Urban Tails we focused on creating a dog & cat facility that would support the lives of busy professionals. We have extended pick-up hours and flexible training programs to work within your busy schedule. We strive to provide one stop shopping for your pet services needs and serve as a partner with you in the care of your dogs & cats.
The health and safety of the pets in our care is a responsibility we take very seriously. In the design of our facility and our operating procedures we kept this as our number one priority. As a result, we are one of the few facilities in Houston to have staff onsite 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. We obtain a personality profile on all dogs in our daycare and boarding programs so we can personally know each one. We use the pet profile to plan a less stressful and more enjoyable stay for your dog. Dogs in our daycare program are assigned to playgroups based on play style, size and age. By separating dogs in to 3
playgroups we can find the right group of playmates for your dog. We understand dog behavior and stress signals and our goal is to minimize the impact of stress on the health of your pet when away from home. We monitor stress signals and use several tools to proactively prevent health issues from arising, tools such as feeding each pet's own diet when boarding. In our groom shop we use
